    • Alas, often one just gets lucky. This one was while at the light stabilized by my car, reaching out the window of the drivers seat. I am afraid the Canon 5D did most of the work here 🙂 Specs? ISO 1250, F/1.8, 1/25 sec.

  1. It is a beautiful shot, especially with the church inscription subtle but not overpowering, … and in case it is asked, the meaning of the inscription is, “The one true god” [also has been translated as ‘ the god of the triunion”]…. in reference to the actual name of God inscribed above, which is the Hebrew inscription of gods name. The inscription is known as the ‘Tetragrammaton’ or Hebrew writing of the name of god. Gods name was written as YHWH, which became Yahweh [Hebrews wrote in consenants and left out vowels until spoken] With the infux of converted Europeons to the growing Roman Catholic religion the names pronounciation gradually changed to its modern day understanding: JEHOVAH.
