Put a Bird on It – Stained Glass Birds Edition – And Introducing the Tamron 28-75mm 2.8 Lens

Having just bought a house, I really do not have much disposable income for camera equipment, but I really needed to replace my Canon 50mm 1.8, aka the nifty fifty, as this is the lens that remains almost exclusively on my camera and I had broken mine, but when I went to buy it the seller had this lens bundled with it a price I could not ignore, and though I have had it only one day, I must say it is going to be a really, really sweet lens. It even has decent macro capabilities.

I got these two lovely little birds at garage sale for a dollar or so, they do fit in with the stained glass in my house quite nicely!
