This ginkgo tree is on the hill of the World’s Fair Pavilion. It is tall and stately, and when it drops it leaves it creates a blanket of greenish-yellow worthy of royalty. I tried to catch the falling of the leaves for two separate shoots this Fall but it was not yet ready. Yesterday, I missed seeing that beautiful carpet before it was fully covered in snow by about an hour. Even so, it had some wonderful images to offer.
