Again, I like the clever response to the assignment. I cannot tell if the pixilation is intentional or not. If it was intentional (done digitally afterwards) I think the pixilation was taken a tad too far. If unintentional it looks like a shot taken with a camera phone in low-light. (which is not in and of itself a bad thing) Either way, I think the shot could have been a bit better framed – cup too far to one side – left half of photo total dead space. Also might have tried something interesting with the reflection.

A good idea, but the execution is poor.

Interesting composition, grain, refractions, and warm colors. It doesn’t quite feel like morning to me (could be a beer or tea, shadows suggest evening). I do like the graphical lines of the table and shadows.
