I like the title – would be curious to know what your thoughts were in naming this piece. The black bg works really well and makes this feel like a documentary piece (or makes boy look like a guest on Charlie Rose) (that was a joke) The boy and rodent do certainly seem to be in communion (friendship?) – totally at peace with each other. Like this shot a lot – lighting, pose, focus, framing, Very intriguing.

Relational image, nice focus and composition, not too blown out by the close flash, though it’s not a soft light; interesting feel with the hands and the pet and the expression.
