Funny title/photo juxtaposition, and not a bad photo from a technical standpoint. However, I’m not sure it works as well as a response to this assignment. Here’s my read: “My other half” typically refers to your spouse, and I suppose your spouse is ideally your best friend? And that’s how this is about best friend? Ok, maybe, but it feels one jump too many. I think you might have been able to get away with it if you had perhaps chosen a different title? I appreciate the humor, however.
